Each blood type has a specific diet profile that works with your body to maintain a healthy immune system and digestive tract.

TYPE O

Type O blood types have hardy digestive tracts, strong immune systems along with natural defenses against infections and an efficient metabolism.

BEST FOODS FOR TYPE O

The best foods for Type O blood types include high protein foods (such as meat and fish), vegetables and fruits.

FOODS TYPE O SHOULD AVOID

There are several foods that should be avoided for the Type O blood type.  They include:  wheat, corn, kidney beans, navy beans, lentils, cabbage, brussels sprouts, cauliflower and mustard grains.

FOODS THAT ARE AIDS TO TYPE O

These foods act as aids for Type O.  They include kelp, seafood, salt, liver, red meat, kale, spinach and broccoli.

 TYPE A

Type A blood types adapt well to dietary and environmental changes, have a good immune system, preserve and metabolizes nutrients more easily.

    I’m a type O and I have a very weak digestive tract since birth along with a weak immune system… I wonder if this diet really works. My mum owns a book on it and I think the theory is very interesting but yet.. I still wonder…

  2. To eatandgetmoving, you can try to cut out the foods to avoid and see how you feel. There are many other factors that come into play regarding overall health. This diet revolves around suggestions to help work with specific blood chemistry. Some foods are better metabolized by certain blood types than in others.
